About

I am a medical and biological illustrator with a passion for exploring and visualizing science, nature, and medicine through traditional art techniques and digital media. I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where I received my Master’s in Medical and Biological Illustration in May 2020. At Hopkins, I learned under experts in the field and worked with anatomists, surgeons, and scientific researchers to refine my skills in accurate and effective visual storytelling. I previously received my Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences and Art from Clemson University, where I worked with researchers in Entomology and Evolutionary Vertebrate Morphology and Biomechanics and created illustrations for research publications and citizen science education.

My passion for medical illustration stems from my love of nature and learning about the scientific world around us. I grew up with an artist mother and a nature-loving family, and I am continually filling sketchbooks with portraiture sketches and studies from life.

I am currently employed at OssoVR, the leading virtual reality surgical training platform, where I work with a team of artists and subject matter experts to create accurate and realistic anatomical models for our VR modules.
